A New Day
Today is always a new day, I’m
walking beneath the loblollies
on long leaf brown pine
needles. Crisp.
The hammock is blowing in
the breeze.
The green cove is smooth
as can please.
The blue water is white
capping. I can’t wait to go water
skiing. It will be a
grateful day. And I will happily be.
