Cataract
On a journey of discovery,
flowing swiftly
from the source over stones,
I embrace ultimate
surrender to the allure
of the sleepless sea,
travel down night’s channel,
catch lucid dreams,
a rock solid rationale
from which to witness
mind’s ripples and rumblings,
seams and strands.
Gathering golden bouquets
in fields of desire,
I rise again to sail
upper stratosphere of illusion,
seek entrance beyond
shadowed woods,
seize everything but compromise,
spin in rills and estuaries
on the river’s inevitable course,
ride falling thunder
to the quiet center of my life,
being myself out loud . . . and
bringing the world together.
