Trump and the Constitution
In early May 2025, in an interview with Meet the Press, Trump was asked: “Do you believe you have to uphold the Constitution?”
His response: “I don’t know. I’m not, I’m not a lawyer. I don’t know.”
Donny denial tiny accordion hands
I don’t know about that
The likes of which nobody has ever seen before
I’m a very smart guy Trump
Is in serious cognitive decline.
He fails to remember taking the presidential oath
On January 20, 2017, and on January 20, 2025
To preserve, protect and defend the Constitution,
An oath required before a president
Can assume official duties.
In his best Mussolini-like posture,
Chin jutting forward,
With a fascistic smirk on his face,
Trump, a pathological liar,
Adds exponentially
To the 30,573 lies he told
In his first term as president,
The likes of which
Had not been heard before,
Lies that would pardon
Hannibal Lecter and
Pinocchio on steroids.
