Fabrice Poussin

9/1/2020

Shroud to Live

Satin, silk, and nylon, a skin for light
beyond the stars, it shines to the night
holding souls, spirits, passions safe.

Expanding at uncommon velocity
shrinking too in ultimate timidity
micro knots of an intimate moment

Worlds begin a swift waltz across the realms
outstretched in their long quest for victory
in a fine knowledge of all that is.

Space sighs carried on the waves of time
not to be silenced in the warmth they create
distanced but united in infinite permanence.

They close their thoughts to the surroundings
gliding majestic with no anchor, without harbor
softly resting upon the velvet of eternal living.
