After the second
Narrow bridge, no cars allowed.
Nature walking heals.

A small forest stream,
A faint gurgling, a laugh,
Happiness flowing.
With five published books and a sixth come out last year from Futurecycle Press (A Confluence of Voices Revisited), John Laue presently coordinates the monthly reading series of The Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium. John uses photo series to illustrate various topics, i.e.  Abandonment, Contrails, Shadows, and Reflections. Photos of Laue’s have been accepted by literary journals with some earning special recognition in international art competitions and others featured in magazines. He also matches some photos with three line 5-7-5 syllable poems similar to haiku in pairs he calls Poemages. Series of these Poemages comment on Humanity, Nature, Being and Becoming, Ecology, and other significant topics.
