Dry flowers
the past
when
people life laughter
filled this room
 
Now empty
children gone
 
What remains
a picket fence
an ocean
tomorrow
and a long flat
wide horizon

​Going Home
 
Mountain redwood clouds
Cold winter storms are coming
Time to head back home

​Year-End
 
welcoming the light
and gratitude for our love
holding on to hope
